The Telescopython is made of real, high-quality optical GLASS, fully-multi-coated just like the most expensive camera lenses to give you super-clear images, ultra-low dispersion and avoid reflections. We source our glass from Germany. 

BaK stands for BaritleichKron (German for "Barium Crown"). Used normally in high-end binoculars, telescopes, camera lenses and other high performing opticals, it is the highest quality, most desirable way to build a monocular or binocular prism, which is why we used it in the Telescopython.
